Picture Taken Preparing for 2007 Annual Enchilada Feast
There are many important aspects of running a successful chapter, and fundraising is one of the most important. The money raised allows us to engage in a variety of different events, from adopting families, to feeding the homeless, to putting on workshops to make our campus and surrounding community aware of important issues, to providing scholarships to aid in the advancement of our community, and last but not least, to make charitable donations to individuals and organizations in need.
Some of our fundraisers include raffles, working at sport events, partnering up with local businesses (i.e., Ivars consession stands), Brown Bag Lunches, and our annual Mexican Dinner Night. All year we look forward to attending workshops, national events, and meetings in other areas of the country. Fundraising helps our desires to attend many of the events listed previously a REALITY.
