Platanos and Collard Greens is a thought provoking comedy-drama
that tells the story of two college students, Freeman, an African-American man, and Angelita, a Latino woman. This is a story that is often not told. The story of the political, historical, and social relationships between Blacks and Latinos. This story is filled with wit, humor, satire, and touching emotion.
